Delivery & Collection Policy

At And Always, Cake, every cake is made to order in our cake studio in Tavira, Algarve. Because our cakes are freshly prepared and require careful handling, collection and delivery are arranged in advance.

Collection in Tavira

Orders can be collected from our studio in Tavira, Algarve.

• Collection is by prior arrangement only.

• We do not have a shopfront and cannot accept walk-in collections.

• Your collection date and time will be confirmed with you after your order is received.

• Please arrive at the agreed collection time so that your cake can be collected safely.

For our Burnt Basque Cheesecake, we generally require at least 48 hours' notice. If you need an order sooner, please contact us and we will let you know whether we can accommodate your request.

Local Delivery

We offer local delivery from our Tavira studio. Delivery is calculated according to the distance between our studio and the delivery address.

Our current delivery rates are:

More than 25 km up to 35 km	€31.50	Delivery on your selected date, subject to availability and confirmation after your order is received. Orders require at least 48 hours' notice. Please ensure someone is available to receive your order.

There is no minimum order value for local delivery.

Delivery is subject to availability. Selecting a delivery date and delivery option at checkout does not constitute confirmation of delivery. We will review your order and confirm the delivery arrangements after the order is received.

If we are unable to accommodate your requested delivery date, we will contact you to discuss an alternative date or arrangement.

Delivery Area

Our standard local delivery service covers addresses within 35 km of our Tavira studio, subject to availability and confirmation.

For addresses outside the standard 35 km delivery area, including locations elsewhere in the Algarve, Alentejo or Huelva province in Spain, please contact us before ordering. We may be able to arrange delivery by prior agreement, with the delivery cost and arrangements confirmed before the order is accepted.

We do not currently offer general nationwide or international parcel shipping.

Delivery Times

Delivery is made on the selected delivery date, subject to availability and confirmation after your order is received.

As our cakes are made to order, delivery availability depends on our production schedule and the delivery location. The delivery date and, where applicable, an estimated delivery time or delivery window will be confirmed with you.

Please ensure that someone is available at the agreed delivery address to receive the cake.

Important Information for Cake Delivery

Our cakes are delicate and should be handled with care.

Once a cake has been delivered and accepted by the customer, responsibility for its safe storage and handling passes to the customer.

Burnt Basque Cheesecake

Our Burnt Basque Cheesecake should be refrigerated until ready to serve.

For the best experience, remove the cheesecake from the refrigerator approximately 1½ hours before serving and allow it to come to room temperature. The cheesecake is best enjoyed at room temperature, when its texture and flavour are at their best.

After serving, any remaining cheesecake should be returned to the refrigerator.

We recommend enjoying the cheesecake within 48 hours of collection or delivery.

Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are calculated according to the delivery distance from our Tavira studio:

• Up to 10 km: €9.00

• More than 10 km up to 20 km: €18.00

• More than 20 km up to 25 km: €22.50

• More than 25 km up to 35 km: €31.50

There is no minimum order value for local delivery.

All delivery arrangements are subject to availability and confirmation after the order is received.

Collection or Delivery

At checkout, customers can select the available collection or delivery option applicable to their order and address.

Collection from Tavira is available by prior arrangement. Local delivery is available within the stated delivery area, subject to availability and confirmation.

Please note that placing an order with a requested delivery date does not guarantee that date until we have confirmed the delivery arrangements.
